Wedding Ceremonies

WEDDING CEREMONIES & CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS

At the Portland Hotel we have a Licence for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, a room hire charge of £250.00 is applicable. It is recommended that you make contact directly with the Superintendent Registrar at Hull Civic Centre to make necessary arrangements for your Ceremony to be held at The Portland Hotel.

BAR FACILITIES

Bar facilities and dancing are available until 1.00am unless you require otherwise.

EVENING RECEPTION

To enable you to invite all those family and friends who were unable to attend the Reception you may wish to extend your celebrations into the evening.

Providing that an evening buffet is chosen and you are catering for a minimum of 100 guests, a room hire charge will not be made. The only additional cost will be for your chosen entertainment such as a Disco or Band, which we will be pleased to arrange for you. We recommend that a minimum of 75% of the guests attending the evening Reception are catered for.

CHANGING ROOM

Changing facilities will be provided for the Bridesmaids with our compliments.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

For all bookings we require a non-refundable deposit of £450.00 and confirmation in writing with approximate times and numbers. All charges will be made on numbers given 14 days prior to the Reception.

YOUR PERSONAL CONTACT

A dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will handle your booking. She will be your main contact at The Portland Hotel to help you with all your arrangements. A dedicated Manager will be responsible for looking after you on your special day.
